Once the plugin is active, you add the builder to any page with a shortcode, then use the on-screen form to generate links.
Step 1: Add the shortcode to a page
Edit any page or post and add this shortcode where you want the builder to appear:
[rsutm_builder]
You can place it in:
A Shortcode block in the block editor
A Divi Code or Text module
An Elementor Shortcode widget
A classic widget area or text widget
Most other page-builder content areas
Publish or update the page, and the builder appears.
Step 2: Choose your destination URL
When you open the page, you'll see the builder. How you set the destination depends on whether you're logged in:
Logged-in team members see two tabs:
Select content — pick any published page, post, or custom post type from a dropdown. If your site has several content types, filter pills (All, Pages, Posts, etc.) let you narrow the list with one click.
Custom URL — paste any address, including external ones.
Logged-out visitors see the Custom URL field only.
Step 3: Fill in the campaign details

> Tip: As you type, the builder cleans your entries automatically — everything becomes lowercase, spaces turn into underscores, and stray characters are removed. This keeps your analytics reports tidy.
Step 4: Copy your link
The finished URL appears in the Generated URL box and updates as you type. Click Copy to copy it to your clipboard, then paste it into your social post, email, ad, or QR code.
